Children have a natural urge to move around a lot. They move because they have fun doing so and because this satisfies important physical, mental and emotional needs. Lack of movement however is a significant factor in many development problems. Long periods of sitting down leads to the "nodding posture" (the head is heavily bent forward and this causes cramped muscles in the shoulder and neck area). Studies by eye specialists and orthopaedic experts have shown that this is the cause of the headaches which more and more schoolchildren are suffering from. There is no doubt that many of these problems is possible to avoid choosing proper furniture for our children.
